A quick hello from our home to yours

Before pedigrees and genetics — our dogs are family first.

Our puppies are born into everyday life. They hear laughter, vacuum cleaners, soft voices, and the rhythm of a real home. They are handled gently from day one and grow up confident, social, and deeply connected to people. If you are looking for a breeder who treats puppies like inventory, you are in the wrong place. If you are looking for someone who cares deeply about every tiny heartbeat, welcome home.

The Red Story

Red that turns heads, genetics that explain why.

A deep red Toy Poodle is one of those dogs people remember. The coat glows, the eyes pop, and the whole dog has this confident "I know I'm cute" energy. But true red is not a paint job — it is genetics, lineage, and careful selection over time.

Red is often described as one of the newer recognized Poodle colors, becoming official in 1980. Consistent, rich reds are hard to reproduce predictably: coat depth varies because multiple genetic factors influence how intense the red looks and how it matures.

  • Newborn to early weeks — many red puppies are born rich and saturated.
  • 6 to 10 weeks — some lines show a lighter phase, then a darker band near the skin.
  • Teenage & adult coat — some reds deepen again, some soften. Every dog is an individual.

— our promise: we'll always tell you what we see, what the lineage suggests, and what's realistic.

Our Dogs

Meet the hearts behind every puppy.

Healthy puppies start with healthy parents. Our Toy Poodles are not "breeding stock" — they are our daily companions, our little comedians, our shadows in the kitchen. Every dog in our program is AKC registered, loved and raised as part of our home, and selected for health, temperament, and Toy Poodle type.

Breeding Program & Ethics

Not fast, trendy, or accidental — intentional and hands-on.

We love deep red Toy Poodles, but we never chase color at the expense of health, temperament, or long-term well-being. If you are looking for a breeder who treats puppies like a product, we are not the right fit. If you are looking for a breeder who plans carefully, tests responsibly, and places thoughtfully — welcome.

About the Breeder

Passionate people, playful Poodles.

Breeder with Toy Poodles at home

If you walked into our home on a normal day, you wouldn't find a showroom or a quiet kennel. You'd probably hear tiny feet tapping across the floor, a puppy protesting bath time, and someone laughing because a red fluffball just tried to steal a sock. That's who we are.

This did not begin with a plan to "become breeders." It started with one Toy Poodle who completely changed everything — smart, affectionate, expressive, endlessly entertaining. Curiosity turned into research. Research turned into late nights reading pedigrees and studying health testing.

Dogs first. Always.

If a decision benefits us but not the dog, it's the wrong decision. Full stop.

Temperament is non-negotiable.

A beautiful coat won't help if a dog can't feel safe, confident, and loved.

Every puppy deserves the right home,
not the fastest one.

We care about who you are and how life will look for that dog ten years from now.

Honoring Linda DeBlauw — Scarlet's Fancy Poodles

Our founder's close friend and mentor has been instrumental in our development as breeders. Linda taught us that thoughtful pairing, deep respect for genetics, and unwavering focus on temperament matter far more than trends or superficial color claims. She's helped us tremendously, and we're glad to send people her way too.

"Breeding is a community effort. Pretending otherwise is how breeds get damaged."

Frequently Asked Questions

For curious families starting their Toy Poodle journey.

Availability

Do you always have puppies available?

Not always. Responsible breeding takes time and respect for each dog's health. Puppies are posted on our Available Puppies page once old enough to be assessed.

How does your waitlist work?

We notify people on the list about upcoming litters and expected timelines so you never miss a chance, and we can match puppies thoughtfully rather than rushing placements.

Breed & Color

Will my red Poodle stay red?

Red is a complex expression within the Toy Poodle coat family. Some puppies hold deep red into adulthood and others lighten slightly — both are normal.

Do Toy Poodles shed?

Toy Poodles have a curly coat with minimal shedding, which many find easier on allergies. Regular grooming maintains coat health.

Health

What health testing do you do on parents?

All recommended breed health tests for Toy Poodles, including core eye exams, DNA testing, and joint evaluations — documentation shared openly before placement.

Do puppies come with a health guarantee?

Yes. Every puppy leaves with a written health guarantee and contract explaining coverage and how to activate it.

Red Flags to Watch For

What should I be cautious of in a breeder?

Puppies always available with no waitlist, avoidance of health testing transparency, rushed or defensive communication, or "teacup" labels used as marketing ploys.
